You mean the Easy Draw Holster opens your knife when you draw it out?

Yes it does, because as you draw the knife out of the holster, the blade rotates over the top

of a nylon bushing in the rear of the holster until the blade locks into the open position

when it's completely drawn.

Will the edge of my knife blade dull from using the Easy Draw Holster?

No it won't. The bushing in the rear of the holster is made from a nylon material that's

benign to your blades edge.  It's basically the same material that's used in a nylon butcher

block.

Will my knife fall out of the Easy Draw Holster?

We made the Easy Draw Holster from a 10 ounce latigo leather.  When you get your holster,

you'll have to break the holster in and form fit the holster to your individual knife.  It literally

form fits a custom pocket to your individual knife that's tight, safe, and secure through the

roughest treatment you could possibly put it through.

How do I know which holster fits my lockblade knife?

The holster comes in two sizes that fit either a 4 inch or 5 inch body knife.  A 4 inch body

knife fits the medium holster and a 5 inch body knife fits the larger holster.  The knife

industry is standardized on the knife sizes they make but may vary marginally by a small

fraction one way or another from the exact 4 or 5 inch measurement.  This is not an issue

when sizing the holster to your knife, as long as you are generally within a quarter of an

inch of the measurement either way.  The holster will accommodate these tolerances easily

and it won't be an issue.

Which holster do I need to get, the right or left hand draw holster?

The draw option you choose to use will depend on what option best fits your need or style.

But it's important to remember that if you're right handed, the straight draw and back draw

option call for a right hand holster.  If you decide on the cross body draw option you in turn

would need a left hand draw holster.  Then, if you're left handed, you simply reverse these

instructions.

Is it difficult to learn to use the Easy Draw Holster?

Actually, the Easy Draw Holster is a natural and easy way to use your knife.  With every

holster sold, we include a comprehensive and informative instruction manual that step by

step demonstrates each draw and return procedure through written and photographic steps

and makes learning to use the Easy Draw Holster an easy experience.  The learning curve is

about half an hour.

Can I cut myself when I draw my knife?

As your knife is drawn and the blade rotates out of the holster, it's the back side of the blade

that leads the way and it's impossible to come in contact with the blade edge.  In the

instruction manual that comes with each holster, you will be instructed in all of the proper

draw sequences and procedures.

Do you have to take your gloves off to get your knife out and open?

No you don't. Never again will you have to fumble around removing your gloves just to draw

and open your knife.

Is the Easy Draw Holster comfortable to wear?

The Easy Draw Holster wears in a horizontal position on your belt in comparison to the lateral

position of a standard knife sheath.  The holster design makes it only 1/2 inch wider than a

standard belt loop.  The Easy Draw Holster is the most comfortable way you'll ever carry your

knife.

What's the hardest part of using the Easy Draw Holster?

That's a simple question to answer.  It's once you use the Easy Draw Holster and show your

friends, or someone sees you draw your knife, you'll have to explain to them how it works

and where they can get one for themselves.
